Crevoiserat, a NEWMAC All-Conference first team selection, scored three goals, including a pair of penalty kicks (2-for-2), and totaled 11 points during the regular season. He later headed in the decisive marker versus Coast Guard to send the Engineers their first-ever NEWMAC Men's Soccer Championship title match.

Brian Murtagh of Wayland, Mass., Selected to New England Football Writers Division II/III All-Region Team

Murtagh led the Liberty League in total tackles with 106 while his 75 solo tackles were 13 more than the second highest in the conference. The middle linebacker stuffed the stat sheets with three sacks, seven tackles for loss, three QB hurries, three interceptions, a pass backup and a recovered fumble. Murtagh disrupted an overtime two point conversion attempt to secure a 24-23 victory at Merchant Marine.

Amato, ranked first in New England at 125 pounds, defeated the third-ranked wrestler from USM 12-6 in a bout at 133 pounds in WPI's 33-13 team win. The sophomore came back and scored a 17-1 tech fall over his opponent at 125 pounds in the Engineers 26-12 victory over Norwich.

Marshall was able to experience every long snapper's dream, hauling in a 16-yard touchdown pass off a fake field goal as time expired in the first half of WPI's 28-14 season-ending victory over Springfield.

Senior Nate Martel, junior Vinny Tavernelli and sophomores Brian Murtagh and Brandon Eccher highlighted seven WPI football players to earn distinction from the Liberty League as all-conference teams were announced on Tuesday. The quartet was named first team all-conference while junior Sean Murphy earned second team honors and senior Jack Downey and junior Eric Lacroix and picked up honorable mention recognition.
