Biney averaged 14.3 points per game to help the Engineers continue their best start in program history with three victories over the holiday break.

WPI senior Emily Doherty created another category for the record book as she became the first NSCAA Division III Scholar All-America, as announced late Thursday morning. The second teamer was also named to the ECAC Division III New England Women's Soccer All-Star first team earlier in the day. By virtue of being named an All-America, Doherty is also the program's first NSCAA Scholar All-East Region selection since Kristen Garza '11 collected third team accolades in 2009.

On Wednesday it was announced that Kelleher and Melanson swept the ECAC Division III New England Swimming and Diving awards. Additionally, Melanson is featured in the photo for the organization's release.

Nikolaki swept the diving events versus host Wesleyan and Tufts at the Cardinal Duals. The senior amassed 257.05 points in the 1-meter and accumulated 226.35 on the 3-meter board.

WPI senior Sean Murphy (Mattapoisett, MA) will be heading to Doug Shaw Stadium in Myrtle Beach, SC to play in the 2015 DIII Senior Classic on December 19. The game is slated for a 12:30pm kickoff.

Whelan qualified for all three regional postseason meets as he won the 60-meter dash with a school-record time of 7.07.

Price headlined the Engineers entries in the 60-meter dash at the season-opening Springfield Invitational with a second-place time of 8.05 and was .01 faster in the prelims to set the school record with an 8.04.

The sophomore broke WPI's two oldest records dating back to the 1970s while winning the 1650 freestyle (17:23.83 and 1000 freestyle: 10:29.58) and also set a new school standard in the 200-yard butterfly (2:09.43).

Senior Emily Doherty (Shrewsbury, MA) has been named to the Capital One Division III Women's Soccer Academic All-America third team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). She becomes the 56th WPI student-athlete to earn the accolade in school history and the 36th in the last 10 years. Doherty is also the third honoree for the women's soccer program, joining Lynn Woroby '08 and Hailey Taylor '12 who were lauded in 2007 and 2010, respectively.

Led by senior Zach Grasis, a unanimous first team selection, and juniors Chad DellaPorta, Brian Murtagh and Blaine Bursey, 11 members of the WPI football team were named All-Liberty League following a vote by the conference head coaches.

For the first time in 23 years the WPI football team has earned a postseason bid. The Engineers have been selected to play in the ECAC Presidents Bowl where they will face Kean (NJ) on Friday at 8pm at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.

He becomes only the second Engineer to make the national championship field, joining WPI Hall of Fame inductee Dave Berthiaume '91 who finished 59th at the event in 1990.

Scott crossed the finish line 30th in a time of 25:33.8 at the NCAA Division III Cross Country New England Regional on Saturday.
