Warren Staver of Centreville, Md., Selected as WPI Men's Student-Athlete of the Week as Part of 4x400-Meter Relay

Warren Staver and the entire 4x400-meter relay of the track & field team has been selected as the WPI Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 26th.

Freshman Alex Rus, junior Paul-Henry Schoenhagen, sophomore Ryan Wittenberg and junior Warren Staver collaborated for a second-place, and new record, time of 3:17.47 on Saturday to earn All-New England honors at the NEICAAA Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center. Their converted time of 3:20.63 is 13th overall, but more importantly 11th when the second teams from Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Wisconsin-La Crosse are removed. The top 12 declared relays will earn an invite to the NCAAs.
