Warren Staver of Centreville, Md., Named WPI Men's Student-Athlete of the Week (Mar. 7)

Warren Staver from the track and field team has been named as the WPI Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 6th.

Staver concluded his sensational sophomore indoor season by earning the bronze medal in the 400-meter dash at the ECAC Championships in Staten Island in a time of 49.45. Staver, the school's record in the 400, 500 and 600 meter events, won individual titles at the Springfield, Bowdoin and Smith Invitationals as well as earning All-New England accolades in the 600 meters.
