WPI Football's Nathan Martel of Steep Falls, Maine, Earns Liberty League All-Academic Accolades

Nathan Martel claimed Liberty League All-Academic accolades, as announced by the league office on Friday.

In order to be eligible for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a full year in residence at their institution and carry a 3.2 cumulative GPA into a season of competition.

The Liberty League is comprised of eight football institutions committed to holding their students to high academic standards: Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Springfield College, St. Lawrence University, Union College, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, University of Rochester and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
