Veroniki Nikolaki of Markopoulo, Athens, Greece, Tabbed WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week

WPI junior Veroniki Nikolaki was named the NEWMAC Diver of the Week for her record-setting performances during a triple dual over the weekend.

Nikolaki amassed a score of 286.10 on the 1-meter board and a 276.25 on the 3-meter board as the Engineers swept Babson, Smith and Brandeis on Sunday. The junior eclipsed her own school records on both boards and established a new pool record in the 1-meter event. Nikolaki remains unbeaten so far this season in dual meets.

WPI (4-0) is back in the pool on Saturday, hosting Coast Guard and Division I Providence at 1pm.
