Veroniki Nikolaki of Athens, Greece, Named WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week (Mar. 21)

Veroniki Nikolaki of the swimming and diving team has been named as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 20th.

Nikolaki became WPI's first woman and first diver to earn NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving All-America honors by finishing eighth on the one-meter board at the NCAA Championships in Greensboro, NC on Thursday. The senior totaled 403.15 points during her evening dives after an outstanding preliminary performance that saw her amass 417 points. Nikolaki concluded her outstanding collegiate career Saturday with a 21st place showing in the three-meter event.
