Sydney Packard of Georgetown, Mass., Earns All-New England Nod. WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week Honors (Nov. 12)

Sydney Packard of the cross country team has been named as the WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 12th.

Packard finished 23rd at the NCAA Division III New England Championships in a time of 21:55.8, which was just shy of an invitation to her third NCAA Championship event in as many track & field/cross country seasons (2017 Indoor, 2017 Outdoor). The All-New England performance helped guide the team to a program-record tying 10th place showing with a record low of 311 points.
