Sean Doncaster of Medford, Mass., Selected as WPI Men's Student-Athlete of the Week

Sean Doncaster of the basketball team has been selected as the WPI Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 1st.

Doncaster led the Engineers to a pair of victories last week by stuffing the stat sheets with 31 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists and four steals in victories over Keene State and Eastern Nazarene. With WPI trailing by a point with less than a minute to go versus the Owls, the senior drained the go ahead 3-pointer and ended with 13 points and eight boards. Doncaster continued shine from the outside versus Eastern Nazarene, nailing all four of his trifectas against the Lions while scoring 20 points, grabbing six rebounds and dishing out a game-high six assists.
