Renee Leclaire of Merrimack, N.H., Selected as WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week

Renee Leclaire from the softball team has been selected as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, April 9th.

LeClaire hit .526 (10-of-19) with zero strikeouts, six RBI, three doubles, four runs and a walk in six games this past week. The sophomore had a career day Sunday versus Emerson with a pair of three-hit games, including two doubles and five RBI - including the game-winner - in the opening contest. LeClaire was also perfect in 21 defensive chances at first base.
