Randy Melanson of Attleboro, Mass., Selected as WPI Men's Student-Athlete of the Week

Randy Melanson from the swimming & diving has been selected as the WPI Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 29th.

Melanson totaled the best diving scores of the night with a 257.25 on the 1-meter and 254.50 on the 3-meter in a midweek meet with Clark. He then swept the diving events at the Tech Sprints on Sunday with school-record breaking scores of 424.15 and 417.55, respectively. In all, Melanson now owns three of the four diving records.
