Maura Buckley of Melrose, Mass., named as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week

Maura Buckley from the basketball team has been named as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 8th.

Buckley averaged 10 points and five rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Engineers. She concluded the week by tying her career and season high of 12 points to go with a career-best three steals versus Coast Guard. Buckley also filled the stat sheet with seven rebounds, three assists, and a block.
