Kurt Naugler of Westford, Mass., Named WPI Men's Student-Athlete of the Week

2015 Oct 5

Kurt Naugler of the men's soccer team has been named as the WPI Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, October 4th.

Naugler continued his sensational senior season by tallying a key assist as WPI blanked Emerson 3-0 on Saturday afternoon. The senior co-captain doled out his team-best sixth assist when he found sophomore Brendan Nemes in the 67th minute on the Engineers second goal of the game. Naugler's play in the midfield has been a big reason why the Crimson and Gray are ranked sixth in New England, sport a 9-2-1 overall record and are tied with MIT atop the NEWMAC with a 3-0 mark.
