Kurt Naugler of Westford, Mass., Awarded WPI Men's Student-Athlete of the Week

2014 Sep 18

Kurt Naugler, of Westford, Mass., of the men's soccer team, has been selected as the WPI Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 14.

Naugler showed a flair for the dramatic as WPI remained undefeated with a pair of victories last week. The junior netted the first goal in the Engineers' 2-0 road shutout at Rhode Island College on Wednesday before putting the game-winner in double overtime at home on Saturday against Mass Maritime. With the wins, the Crimson and Gray improve to 5-0 for the first time since 2006 and have allowed just one goal in nearly 465 minutes of action.
