Julie Tevenan of Weymouth, Mass., Named WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week

Julie Tevenan of the women's cross country team has been tabbed as the WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, October 5th.

Tevenan clocked a time 22:50 to finish ninth in a field of over 300 runners in the Paul Short Run white race on Saturday afternoon at Division I Lehigh. The Engineers, who also received a tenth place showing from freshman Emily Newman (22:55), bested Division II regionally-ranked No. 9 Philadelphia who followed in sixth and No. 8 Southern New Hampshire who posted an 11th-place effort.
