Julie Tevenan of Weymouth, Mass., Earns Brian Savilonis Award at Worcester City Cross Country Championships

Julie Tevenan finished fourth to claim the Brian Savilonis Award for the highest placing senior at the Worcester City Championships on Saturday at Moore State Park in Paxton, Mass. The award is named in honor of the long-time WPI coach and current mechanical engineering professor.

Tevenan completed the 5K course in a time of 20:03 to help her team secure six of the top seven spots as the Engineers claimed their seventh title in eight years with a 19 point performance on Saturday.

WPI heads to Franklin Park in Boston for the All-New England Championships on October 10.
