Jenny Day of Chelmsford, Mass., Tabbed as WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week

Jenny Day of the swimming & diving team has been tabbed as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 25th.

Day reset two of her own school records, achieved a B cut and swam on a pair of fifth-place relays over the course of the four-day NEWMAC Championships at MIT. In between leading off the 800 free relay and anchoring a recprd-breaking 400 free relay, Day earned All-NEWMAC second team honors with a runner up, and school record, time in the 1,650 free and was third with another record time in the 500 free. The senior also placed fourth in the 200 fly.
