Jenny Day of Chelmsford, Mass., Tabbed WPI Women's Co-Student-Athlete of the Week

Jenny Day from the swimming and diving team has been tabbed as the WPI Female Co-Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, December 6th.

Day established three school records and tallied WPI's only victory on the weekend as the Engineers placed fourth in the their three-day home Gompei Invitational. The sophomore broke WPI's two oldest records dating back to the 1970s while winning the 1650 freestyle (17:23.83 and 1000 freestyle: 10:29.58) and also set a new school standard in the 200-yard butterfly (2:09.43).

WPI heads to Wesleyan for the Cardinal Duals on Friday night. The final event of the term is set to begin at 6pm.
