Jennifer Day of Chelmsford, Mass., Tabbed WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week

Jennifer Day from the swimming and diving team has been selected as the WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 23rd.

Day captured three events as the Engineers went on the road and defeated Roger Williams 151-137 for the program's first-ever win over the Hawks. The freshman delivered in the 500-yard (5:21.61) and 1,000-yard freestyle (11:08.35), as well as the 400-yard IM (4:46.54). She also teamed up with Emily Martin, Tori Claverie and Amanda Konieczny to post a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:42.30).
