Jennifer Day of Chelmsford, Mass., Honored as WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week

Jennifer Day from the women's swimming and diving team has been honored as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 8th.

Day was victorious in the 100-yard butterfly (1:00.46) and 200-yard freestyle (2:00.01) after anchoring the winning 400-yard medley relay team as the Engineers sweeps a quad dual on Sunday against Babson, Smith and Brandeis. The sophomore also performed well a day earlier at the New England Invitational. Day placed third in the 400-yard individual medley (4:44.09) and finished seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:13.95).
