Jennifer Day of Chelmsford, Mass., Draws NEWMAC Swimming and Diving Weekly Recognition

Jennifer Day has earned NEWMAC weekly honors for her performance this past weekend at the Worcester City Swimming & Diving Championships.

Kristen Bender was named the Co-Diver of the Week while the 200-yard medley relay secured the Relay Team of the Week nod.

Bender totaled a pair of runner up scores on the 1-meter (243.44) and 3-meter (254.02) diving board while the foursome of junior Thea Reymann, freshman Carol Wang, junior Jennifer Day and senior Emily Martin teamed up to deliver the Engineers first-ever relay win at the Worcester City Championships with a time of 1:43.22.

The Engineers, who begin their fifth year in the Sports & Recreation Center, host Babson, Smith and Brandeis Friday at 7pm.
