Jena Mazzucco of Danbury, Conn., Selected as WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week

Jena Mazzucco from the field hockey team has been selected as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, October 9th.

Mazzucco tied up Saturday's game with her fifth goal of the year 1:27 into the second half versus No. 20 Wellesley. The forward has 12 points in 12 games in 2016 for overall totals of 36 career points on 14 goals and eight assists.

The field hockey team resumes action Saturday with a 2:30 p.m. home game versus Anna Maria.
