Jake Morganville of Morganville, N.J., Named WPI Men's Student-Athlete of the Week (Dec. 31)

Jake Needleman from the basketball team has been named as the WPI Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, December 31st.

Needleman averaged 13.5 points on 9-of-14 shooting (64.3%) to go with five rebounds, four assists and a steal en route to E.M. "Mose" Hole/Wooster Kiwanis Classic All-Tournament team honors. He began with 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting (83.3%), including 80% (4-of-5) from beyond the arc, against host Wooster. He then scored 12 points and filled the stat sheet with two rebounds, three assists and a steal in the Engineers win versus Alma (MI).
