Ian Converse of Woodstock, Conn., Named NEWMAC Men's Co-Offensive Player of the Week

WPI senior Ian Converse has been selected as the NEWMAC Men's Co-Offensive Player of the week.

Converse narrowly missed averaging a double-double in the Engineers 2-0 week as he posted 23.5 points and 9.5 rebounds to go with four assists, three blocks and three steals. He began with 24 points and eight rebounds at Wheaton before scoring 23 and grabbing 11 rebounds in the season finale versus Clark. He shot 50 percent from the field in both games.

Third-seeded Men's Basketball takes on second-seeded MIT Saturday in a 7:30pm NEWMAC Semifinal matchup at top-seeded Babson.
