Ian Converse of Woodstock, Conn., Honored as WPI Men's Student-Athlete of the Week (Feb. 13)

Ian Converse of the basketball team has been honored as the WPI Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 12th.

Converse averaged a double-double of 17.5 points and 12 rebounds in a 1-1 week. On Saturday he poured in 21 points and hauled in 15 rebounds in a win at Coast Guard. He also handed the Engineers a pair of second-half leads. On Wednesday, Converse totaled 14 points and nine boards in an overtime setback to MIT.
