Hope Shevchuk of Burlington, Conn., Tabbed as WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week

Hope Shevchuk from the field hockey team has been tabbed as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 19th.

This past week it was announced that Shevchuk earned her fourth NFHCA Scholar of Distinction for carrying at least a 3.9 GPA during the field hockey season. The senior captain led the way offensively for the Engineers this past fall, scoring a team-best eight goals to go along with three assists. 10 others student-athletes were also named to the National Academic Squad and the team earned its 13th consecutive National Academic Team Award.
