Eva Barinelli of Tewksbury, Mass., Member of Women's Rowing Novice Eight Named WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week (Nov. 1)

The novice eight of the rowing team which includes Eva Barinelli has been tabbed as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 1st.

WPI's top novice boat wrapped up an outstanding fall campaign by registered a third place showing in a field of nearly 40 boats at the Head of the Fish Regatta. The boat made up of Rachel Peterson, Melissa McCormick, Sarah Wutka,Kinsey McNamara, Kylie Dickinson, Mary Sheehan, Eva Barinelli, Catherine Matyas and coxswain Larissa Naidoo turned in a time of 12:32.93.
