Eva Barinelli of Tewksbury, Mass., Honored as WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week

The Women's Rowing Varsity Eight, which includes Eva Barinelli, has been honored as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, October 15th.

The configuration of Kinsey McNamara, Sarah Wutka, Christine Hovermale, Melissa Bazakas-Chamberlain, Marlies de Jong, Abby Sawyer, Eva Barinelli, Josephine Bowen, and coxswain Madeline Burke rowed to a first place finish (14:38.404), which was over thirty seconds ahead of Division I Holy Cross (15:11.081), Saturday at the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta.
