Emily Newman of North Easton, Mass., Nabs NEWMAC Women's Cross Country All-Conference Nod

Sophomore Emily Newman earned NEWMAC Women's Cross Country All-Conference accolades to pace WPI's program-best third-place effort Sunday, November 1 at the conference championship event, hosted by Wellesley, at Franklin Park. No. 3 MIT secured its ninth consecutive title with a 19 point effort. No. 26 Wellesley amassed 37 while the Engineers accumulated 117.

Newman, the 2014 NEWMAC Rookie of the Year, improved on her All-New England time from earlier this season (19:16.4) with a 14th-place 19:13.
