Keith Gagnon, who was the only three-time honoree, helped the Engineers collect the second most selections behind MIT. Classmates Eric Schattschneider and Tom Graf, as well as junior Nathan Hughes received the award for the second time. The first-time honorees include the sophomore trio of Bryan Adie, Ricky Coffin and Tim Petri.

Junior captain Veronica Nikolaki and fellow classmate Kate Gillis led the WPI women's swimmers and divers with their second selection to the academic all-conference team. Sophomore teammates Emily Martin and Abbey Nack accepted this distinction for the first time.

A single member of the WPI Men's Basketball team was awarded a spot on the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference team. Junior center Mark Overdevest received this prestigious accolade for the second time.
