2016 Feb 8

Elizabeth Pellegrini from the track and field team has been tabbed as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 7th.

Pellegrini established a new school record as the Engineers competed Saturday at the Boston University Scarlet and White Invitational. The senior captain turned in a time of 25.33 to pace the Crimson and Gray in the 200-meter dash, and rise up to No. 7 nationally in the event. The performance continues an outstanding indoor season for Pellegrini, who has enjoyed tremendous success not only in the 200 meters, but in the 400 meters and 60 meter hurdles, as well as relays.
