Cierra Ford of Georgia, Vt., Member of NEWMAC Co-Regular Season Champion WPI Women's Soccer Team

2016 Oct 31

Cierra Ford is a member of the WPI women's soccer team that secured the program's first NEWMAC regular season championship this past Saturday with a 3-0 victory over Mount Holyoke.

The Engineers share the regular season title with MIT and, thanks to WPI's 2-1 double OT win in the head-to-head matchup on September 17, the Crimson and Gray will be the top seed, and host, for this weekend's NEWMAC Women's Soccer Championship.

WPI (14-2-2), which is ranked fifth in the NSCAA Division III New England Coaches Poll and more importantly eighth in the NCAA Division III Regional Rankings, will face the winner of Tuesday's 4/5 game at noon on Saturday.
