Christopher Rodgers of Franklin, Mass., Snags NEWMAC Men's Basketball Men's Co-Offensive Player of the Week Nod

WPI junior Christopher Rodgers picked up NEWMAC Men's Basketball Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors. The WPI Men's Student-athlete of the Week shares the conference honor with Babson senior Joey Flannery.

Rodgers had a career week for the Engineers. He began with a career-best 21 points and a team-best seven rebounds to go with two assists, a steal and a block Wednesday at Clark. On Saturday, Rodgers added 16 more points, five assists, four rebounds, a steal and a block vs Wheaton. In all, the junior averaged 18.5 points and 5.5 rebounds to go with seven helpers, two blocks and two assists.

WPI (12-5, 3-3 NEWMAC) entertains Coast Guard Wednesday at 7pm.
