Casey Hunt of Granby, Conn., Honored as WPI Women's Student-Athlete of the Week

Casey Hunt of the volleyball team has been honored as the WPI Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 25th.

Hunt handed in three double-doubles in four matches last week. Her season-highs of 19 kills and 18 digs helped key the Engineers 3-2 road victory at Coast Guard. The triumph was also the second in program history over the Bears. Earlier in the week, Hunt totaled 18 digs and 11 kills against Emerson and added 10 kills and 12 digs versus Wellesley.

Volleyball (10-3) heads to Newbury tomorrow night for a 7pm appointment.
