Austin Scott of Waddington, N.Y., Named WPI Men's Student-Athlete of the Week

Austin Scott of the cross country team has been honored as the WPI Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 27th.

Scott topped the field at the Worcester City Championships as the Engineers pitched a shutout en route to reclaiming the team title. The junior completed the 8K course with a time of 26:46.3 as the Crimson and Gray accounted for the first eight collegiate finishers to help win the meet for the 21st time in 22 outings.

WPI returns to action at the All-New England Championships on October 10.
