Austin Scott of Waddington, N.Y., Earns NCAA Division III All-New England Accolades

2015 Nov 16

Junior Austin Scott turned in an All-New England performance while the WPI men's cross country squad posted a program-best 10th-place finish at the 2015 NCAA Division III New England Regional Saturday at Harkness Memorial State Park.

Scott, who crossed the finish line 30th in a time of 25:33.8, has a chance to make the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships field and will know his fate Sunday afternoon. If selected, he would become only the second Engineer in program history to earn a bid as WPI Hall of Fame inductee Dave Berthiaume '91 represented the Crimson and Gray in the 1990 championships at Grinnell, IA.
