Austin Lindner of Princeton Junction, N.J., Tabbed as WPI Men's Student-Athlete of the Week

Austin Lindner of the baseball team has been tabbed as the WPI Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 11th.

Lindner had a breakout week for the Engineers. The catcher batted a team-best .440 to go with a .760 slugging and .467 on-base percentage while totaling 12 RBI, four extra base hits - including a pair of home runs - as well as three walks and two sacrifice flies. Lindner began the season with a 2-for-3 game versus Coe and went 2-for-4 the next day against Gwynedd Mercy. He later homered and drove in two runs in each end of a doubleheader with Anna Maria and went 3-for-4 in the nightcap versus the AMCATS.
