WPI freshman Aaron Todd has been selected as the Worcester Area College Basketball Association (WABCA) Men's Rookie of the Week.

Todd headlined four Engineers in double figures in scoring with a career-best 10 points as nationally-ranked WPI opened NEWMAC conference play with a 73-53 victory over visiting Springfield Wednesday evening. The freshman, who connected on 4-of-5 shots from the field and grabbed four rebounds against the Pride, also added four points in a road loss Saturday at MIT.

The 13th-ranked Engineers (11-2, 1-1 NEWMAC) head to 15th-ranked Babson (12-1, 2-0 NEWMAC) Wednesday for a 7pm clash.
